HFW organized free eye camp
 
 
 
 
Hunger Free World jointly organized an Eye Camp with ISBN Eye Hospital, Dinajpur at the Center for Organic farming in Balaramhat village in Boda under Panchagarh district from 17-19 February 2009. The program was supported by the Andheri Hilfe of Bon, German and Karitas Bangladesh which was initiated by freedom fighter Rotarian Anowarul Hakim Faruque.

This eye camp conducted in rural area of Bangladesh, where people have little or no access to quality healthcare. Hunger Free World creates opportunity to provide free eye operation for the disadvantaged people. Out of 1000 people 70 person were finally selected for the operation by fixing the lense. Rest of them were recived free eye drop for respective
condition. Hunger Free World also provided free food and lodging and post operating care.

At the inauguration ceremony of the eye camp there are some distinguished people who were highly appreciated the initiative taken by HFW. The vice president of Boda union council Mr. Mafijul Islam, Chairman of Chandonbari union Momtajul Karim Jahangir, former UP chairman Moazzem Hossain Babul, Principal of Pathraj College Tariqul Islam, Journalist Anwar Hossain.
