‘Creating together, working together’ we can eradicate hunger and poverty from Bangladesh.
Hunger Free World Bangladesh is working towards hunger free Bangladesh by 2021, when the nation celebrates 50 years of independence.
HFW works at a grassroots level to empower locals to make changes themselves to achieve a sustainable future and lift Bangladesh to the ranking of a mid-level developed country.
Villagers are educated through schooling, specialised training sessions and scholarships on sustainable and organic farming, nutrition and women’s rights. HFW also offers a hospital, cooperative store and two Centres for Organic Farming.
HFW is a not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Toyko, Japan with branches in Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso and Uganda. It is separated from any ideologies, religion or politics.
HFW Bangladesh is currently based in the capital Dhaka, Kalignoj in the West and Boda in the North. It operates through two main wings – Youth Against Hunger (YAH) and Women Ending Hunger (WEH).
With a common vision, hope and hard work, we can end hunger and improve the lives of all Bangladeshis.
